Posture People LTD are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The aim of this page is to explain what information we collect, how we use that information, and how (if you wish to) you may opt-out.

Information we collect

When signing up for our newsletter, we ask for your name, company and email address . When a purchase is made on our site, in addition to the above, we also ask for delivery address and payment method details.If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Your data will enable us and our processors to fulfil your order, to notify you about important changes and for statistical or survey purposes to improve this website and our services to you. We may also send you from time to time (by email or phone) information about relevant products and services and details of promotions and special offers from us if you have previously entered into a sale or negotiation with Posture People Ltd.

We do not share information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment information

To process payments on our website, we use a secure separate payment gateway via PayPal or Stripe which means we do not have access to, or handle the card holder details.

We do however receive and record delivery address and contact information so that we can complete our deliveries. These may be shared with sub contractors of Posture People Ltd in order for us to complete our service of delivery.

We annually review and testify that we are adhering to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) to reduce the risk of data security breaches and give our customers confidence in our secure checkout. ­

Where is my data stored?

Any data that we process is processed and stored within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Keeping our data accurate and up to date

Individuals are entitled to have personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete. If we receive a request to update any details we have on our records, we will amend this within a one-month period. If this affects a third party such as a delivery company or manufacturer, we will endeavour to rectify the information immediately to minimise disruption.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Our website, like many others, uses Google Analytics to help analyse how visitors use this website. Google Analytics collects anonymous information through the use of “cookies”.

Cookies are small pieces of data which are stored on your web browser while using a website. These cookies are used to store and retrieve browsing information when you load a webpage.

All cookie information we collect is completely anonymous, and is only used to improve our website performance and usability.

Data Requests

We will endeavour to respond to any data requests within 28 days.

Where possible, we will try to complete the request free of charge, however extensive record requests will be chargeable due to administration costs of up to £50 per request. If the request is deemed chargeable, we will issue a proforma invoice.

If the request is identical or similar request to one we have already dealt with, unless a reasonable interval has elapsed between the first request and any subsequent ones, it may be deemed an unreasonable request and we may refuse to provide the information requested. Provided we are given adequate contact details, you will receive a written explanation as to why we are denying the request.

You will have the right to know:

  • what information is being used
  • why it’s being used
  • where it came from
  • who can see the information?

 We may require proof of identity to complete your requests. Data requests should be submitted in writing to the following address with as much information as possible so that we can efficiently process your request.
