If you liked the contour mouse but are unable to get your perfect size, good alternatives are either the Grip Mouse (which is only available for right hand users) or the Evoluent Mouse (which is available for right or left hand users).

To work out what size you need measure from the crease in your wrist (where your hand meets your wrist) to the tip of your index finger, and refer to the measurements below to work out what size is suitable for you.

Small: up to 17 cm.
Medium: 17-19 cm.
Large: 19-21 cm.
Extra Large: over 21 cm (only available right-handed)

The Contour Mouseallows you to rest your hand on top of the mouse and activate thebuttons with small, subtle motions without flexing your fingers.  The elimination of flexingreduces carpal tunnel use and the threat of repetitive strain injuries.

A pronouncedhump on the top of the mouse supports the bones in your hand fromunderneath, just like an orthopedic arch in a well constructed athleticshoe. The specially designed arch fills the hollow of yourpalm and allows you to rest your hand on top of the mouse.  This archpromotes straight alignment of your hand and wrist bones and slightlyelevates your wrist off of the working surface.  This helps to breakthe harmful habit of resting your wrist on the desk or mouse pad andpivoting the mouse from side to side.  That pivoting can cause pain anddiscomfort as the forearm bones (radius and ulna) twist in directionsnot easily tolerated by human physiology.
