Everybody loves to get together to enjoy a good meal and the Date by Varier (formerly Stokke) has been designed for just this purpose.  By ensuring complete comfort, the Date allows people to sit for as long as they want.  The only problem is that your guests may never leave.

Underneath the delicate fabrics, leather and upholstery, you will find a tilting spring mechanism that allows you to lean forward towards the table, to sit upright at ease and to lean backwards when you need to stretch.  The end result is that you can change sitting positions smoothly and achieve the freedom and movement necessary to feel relaxed and comfortable. 

The chair has a detachable cover, which makes changing the chair colour and cleaning possible.  Date also has soft plastic gliders to avoid scratches on the floor.  The gliders are transparent (without pigment) and therefore leave no black marks.
