3M’s Anir Vertical Mouse is designed to help avoid RSI and give relief to RSI sufferers.
The Anir Mouse has been designed to be used vertically rather like a joystick. It has been specifically engineered to help avoid Repetitive Strain Injury and give relief to those already suffering.
When using the Anir Ergonomic Mouse (also known as the Renaissance Mouse) the hand is positioned more naturally in the vertical position, and the ‘rocker-style’ mouse button on top falls naturally under the thumb. Rocking the thumb downwards produces the left mouse-click. Rocking upwards produces the right-click.
The whole method of operation of the Anir Ergonomic Computer Mouse means that the upper arm is used and therefore the strain on the wrist and lower arm muscles is considerably reduced.
